Our Philosophy

At Jojo’s we believe children, grow develop and learn when they feel safe and secure in their environment and have built strong relationships with the people around them.

We are passionate about providing our children with opportunities that promote exploration and learning through play while valuing their individuality and a natural curiosity about the world around them. With a strong focus on utilizing our Early Childhood Curriculum Te Whāriki encouraging our children ‘to grow as competent and confident learners and communicators, healthy in mind, body and spirit, secure in their sense of belonging and in the knowledge that they make a valued contribution to society’.

Our families are an important part of the Jojo’s culture and we encourage Whānau participation and collaboration as often as possible building reciprocal and respectful relationships supporting the aspirations they hold for their children.

We recognise and acknowledge Te Tiriti o Waitangi and respect it’s principles in the daily operations and planning at Jojo’s, as well as celebrating the essence of all other cultures of our children and our wider community.

“Children see magic because they look for it.”
